By 2050 the world will have unsuccessfully produced remakes of every horror/thriller from the 70's and 80's (first exception: Rob Zombie). This film added nothing to the original creatively; it was meant to be better received by today's audience.
Dumbing down of content, and more revealing outfits... this is how some people remake classic films I guess.
