Despite the horrible reviews, I personally think this film is great. It give the gore, dark humor, and explains why the murderer is actually killing instead of doing what the original did and having a random guy who we assume is "Billy," killing the girls for an unknown reason.
That's creepy, yes, but reasoning is better.
