Review of Black Christmas (2006) by Richard C — 09 Dec 2009
There are few films that will deliver the exuberant carnage this film des with no apologies. It's crass, brutal and christmasey if you can believe that. A group of familiar faces fill out the cast from Katie Cassidy, Michelle Trachtenberg, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and others as sorority girls who battle a psychotic maniac obsessed with being home for the holidays.
expect christmas themed murders and lots and lots of decorations and xmas ringtones. The film lacks a strong visual flair and suffers from not having more creativity. but it's definately a film that improves over time.
It's important to past being offended and take it all as christmas themed dark horror satire. with that mindset your sure to enjoy this holiday horrorfest.
