Review of Black Book (2006) by Tom H — 07 Jun 2012
Classic Verhoeven. Though hampered by the confusing situation at the end of WW II in the Netherlands, where everyone was trying to save their hide, and further complicated by human greed, you still have a very intense story that goes beyond the end of the war.
Riveting, intense and emotional, this film won't leave anybody cold. Definitely worth a watch.
