Brutally bad. Terrible writing, terrible pacing, sub-par acting and very, very ugly visuals combine to create one of the weakest superhero movies I've ever seen. The Rock is really the only decent part of this movie and even then his script is very, very weak.
The writing really is atrocious. While I understand that superhero movies don't need/aren't trying to be Citizen Kane I felt like this entire flick needed someone to just throw out the entire script and start over. The dialogue, when it isn't people just delivering political monologues from a soapbox, is barely there and adds nothing. The story swings wildly from "refusing to explain anything to you" to "explaining everything to you right now in one go". The pacing is nonexistent and as someone who watched the entire thing less than twelve hours ago I still couldn't tell you who are the heroes and who are the villains. It just sucks.
