Waaaayyyy over-the-top, masala-melodrama remake of the Helen Keller story (but no mention of Helen Keller) evocatively rocks between uber-cheese and genuine teary-eyed drama. Bollywood mega-stars Amithabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee hold the screen with their formidable presence and the cinematography is out of this world, but at the end of the day Bollywood is still Bollywood and this is no different, though it's very slick and engaging most of the way.
