Expected a lot more from this movie. Bardem is always interesting to watch; however this movie didn't create any emotional attachment for his character. This isn't a love story, redemption story, or an illumination.
It is a portrait of a man that realizes he has been less than good in his life, only offering part of himself to his family and a minority of others, only after realizing that he is in serious trouble.
Unremarkable in anything other than casting a sense of despair.
