There is not doubt in my mind that Javier Bardem is a magnificent actor, but to me this film I would have better off not watching. It is a straight 2 and a half hours where absolutely nothing happens. If you are into films which are all about a character's journey through life's difficulties, then you will probably enjoy this movie.
To me, life has enough depressing things in it to enjoy constantly seeing it in a movie.
