If you like Javier Bardem in Skyfall or No Country for old Men then its worth taking a look at this. This is a love story about the bonds of parenthood with pockets of light amongst the darkness. Dismal it is but Bardem's expressive eyes and smile offers hope as we follow the missteps of the narrative.
Director Inarritu unusually allows a very linear narrative compared to earlier movies such as Amores Perros, 21 Grams and Babel. Like those and you'll like this too!
