Review of Bitter Moon (1992) by Vesa L — 14 Dec 2007
Very very clever. I don't think the film is as much about perversion as they tend to claim. It tosses nevertheless a fine question about hypocrisy before us. Us? Me at least. There must be a reason to why Hugh Grant is so fluent in interpreting sense of stagnation.
And to embed the literary imagination of the average writer in the narrative itself is an intriguing idea.
