Obviously a film written and directed by film aficionados.
This film does for the exploitation, b-movie genre, what the Scary Movie franchise does for the horror genre...only this film takes itself more seriously. Not a lot of original ideas here, just bits and pieces from other films re-woven into their script.
I was expecting something more original, so I was disapointed. And as a fan of Lucy Lawless (don't let Xena fool you, she's very versatile and FUNNY!) I was disapointed that her role was a mere two minutes long.
Not funny enough to be a parody and not original enough to be a homage.
