Silence and Nicole Kidman's slightly ticked-off complexion occur with the same frequency as high speed pursuits and explosions would in a Micael Bay movie. Birth takes what seems like 9 months to deliver a story you could text someone. The atmoshere it does conjure collapses under a rediculous twist and a pedophilic turn of events.
Give it a wide berth.
