Review of Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) by Javier H — 24 Jun 2015
This film was a masterpiece. Alejandro G. Iñárritu and Emmanuel Lubezki deserve all the credit in the world for bringing this style of filmmaking that is rarely seen and creating a film that is sure to be studied in film classes everywhere for years to come.
Michael Keaton deserved an Oscar, which he sadly didn't win, and even though I'm not sure the film was that great of an accomplishment to win Best Picture, it most certainly deserved every other Oscar it won.
Antonio Sánchez should have been nominated for an Oscar and also won.
