Things I enjoy:
A) Ridiculous mannered bullshit.
B) Films about films / acting / the "creative process".
C) That impose technical constraints upon themselves and the resulting virtuoso convolutions (see also point a above).
D) Magic realism.
E) Emma Stone.
F) New York.
Therefore Birdman is very much For Me, though I can see why it split opinion too.
