Review of Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) by William D — 01 Jan 2018
This thing has a nice beat, good rhythm. It's a self-reflective feature, and has a smooth editing flow. I suppose some of it was ruined for me, because I watched it on regular cable with advertising breaks, but I still got what it was all about and what they were trying for.
Worth watching for its meta-performance performances and multi-layered psychological themes. Funny that the 'major villain' was the stage critic.
