This is a mixture of backstage comedy and science fiction; they don't mix. All About Eve and Batman must forever remain strangers. The result is a miserable hash that has nothing to say about creativity, fantasy, or indeed anything else.
The cast tends to mumble, and that may be a mercy. Profoundly awful.
