Review of Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) by Screenqueen — 01 Jan 2015

This film should be called the Emperor's New Wings. It's as irrelevant and pretentious as the characters on screen. I was thankful for the gimmicky "single shot" technique as it gave me something to watch for two painful hours.

Of course, I fell for the hype surrounding this awful film. The drum track is annoying.As others have said, "different" does not mean "better." As far as calling it a comedy, I'm not sure what idiot decided that.

I snickered maybe twice, but never even laughed aloud. This movie was pigeon poop.
