The dialogue is horrible, one-note and unnatural while the acting is equally as bad for a movie that can't organically get its message across without overtly showcasing its various stances and messages to the viewer via a cast of very unlikable characters.
It features one of the most awkward and rushed romances I've ever seen and performances from Kristen Stewart and Steve Martin that are so over the top. Everything it does pulls you out of the moment.
