I watched this movie on a HD premium movie channel here in Canada. I cannot understand the critics assertion that the acting is flat. The acting accurately represents people who have been through events that shatter their world view.
They have lost contact with their emotions and are struggling to find their identity again. Their experience has made them something that they do not know and they do not now the way back. Billy Lynn finds his way in the end.
Many people do not and sink deeper into their loss. This is a movie that can teach what it is to be emotionally lost.
