Review of Billy Jack (1971) by Jack G — 12 Jan 2010
When Laughlin gets into his bad-ass mode and kicks the ass of anyone that comes in his path (or makes him "BERSERK!"), it's golden. When it tries to push its "message" of pacifism in the face of such dated exploitation storytelling, it gets silly.
Some of the scenes with the hippie school are funny and affecting, most of them aren't. But damn, can that guy do a right kick to the face!
