Billy Elliot.

This movie is started in the Northern parts of England. Where a small boy who has started on boxing because of his farther turns into a great dancer by just doing what he loves. Where he leaves does not help him get to his goals his brother and dad are on strike because of the mining. Meaning that they are struggling to get food on the table. On top of all this Billy has lost his mum in cancer when he was only 6 years old. The way Billy had got caught up in the dancing is just because of him dropping off a key to the dancing teacher.

One of the great things about this movie is the way he gets to the top by everyone knocking him around. But he just goes on even going to the extreme of stealing a book form the library. One of the things is that people think that Billy would be gay because he is a dancer but it turns out that he is straight but his best friend goes around wearing his mum's and sister's clothes where nobody is home.

The idea of the movie is great because of where you look at Billy and his nab our hood people would not even think about becoming a dancer when they are a young boy. Everybody thinks that they will turn into a boxer all a football player play a mans game. The way they start him off by being a boxer then him saying to his dad that he is going to boxing but what he is really doing is going to ballet with a whole class of young girls. One of the ways they show Billy is not a gay is how he starts getting close to his teachers daughter.
