This film simultaneously makes you thankful you didn't grow up in the 1980s North but also secretly jealous of it. Just like its characters this film is a warm heart coated with a gruff exterior. A staple of British culture, it's a must-see for anyone who wants to understand more about the repressed emotions of the British.
