Review of Billy Elliot (2000) by Jesse O — 15 Nov 2011
While it certainly does try too hard at times to tug at your heartstrings, this movie is still very genuinely charming, sweet, funny and touching. It has a good story, strong performance from Jamie Bell and a pretty damn cool soundtrack.
Not much to say, just straight to the point. Highly recommended.
