Review of Billionaire Boys Club (2018) by John M — 21 Sep 2018

The fact that the cast was full of actual talent shows just how bad the writing was. It's like the storyline was an afterthought. It yanks you around between 1,000 different subplots that all seem promising but never actually find any footing.

At first I thought it was a symptom of trying to fit too much story in too little time, but the confusing scene selection proves it wasn't about what was most important to tell, it was whatever offered the cheapest grabs in lieu of any real substance.

Sadly, this movie feels skeezy just like it's subjects. Oh and Kevin spacey played a gay asshole. Now THAT was interesting.
