Review of Biggie & Tupac (2002) by Matthew R — 20 Mar 2008
Nick Broomfield's examination of the Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur murders and the seemingly connected Death Row/Bad Boy Records disputes. A courageous attempt at discovering the truth behind Suge Knight's account, the smokescreen of corrupt police and the facades of numerous fearful, muted witnesses.
Always fascinating and enlightening and not just for Hip Hop aficionados and fans of the artists involved. A superb documentary.
