Review of Biggie & Tupac (2002) by Manny C — 03 Dec 2013
Talk about a documentary that could have used a little more kick, and certain news bits at the time make most of the revelations in this provocative doc from director Nick Broomfield (Kurt and Courtney), the Brit provocateur who can rile people up just as much as Michael Moore.
The footage of the rappers doing what they do best and the unnerving prison interview with Death Row Records founder Suge Knight are hard to shake. Could have used more of that.
