There is a cynical attitude underpinning Big Miracle that makes this family film rather unpleasant. True though it may be, I really don't want my six year picking up the attitude that no one does the right thing for the right reasons.
And fond as I am of Drew Barrymore, her one dimensional portrayal of an animal rights activist made me want to vomit.
