In my mind I want to believe that Big Gold Brick seeks to define and offer itself as something different, and that could perhaps be taken into consideration if its creator thought for a moment that it could mean something beyond its abysmal quality.

But those pretensions that I'm personally assuming, of course, were not achieved in any way.

Big Gold Brick in a way is one of the most pitiful demonstrations of when a director clearly shows from where and from whom he's drawing inspiration and influences, but at the same time it shows a complete lack of identity and quality, because I can't deny that there is an idea behind this story, but judging that from what is presented here, evidently it only made sense to the director.
