Review of Big Game (2014) by Sunil D — 20 Apr 2015
Very sad and disappointing to watch another film promoting hatred, something we really do not need these days. Hazar, a son or a rich man in the oil industry, leads a savage terroir group of Arabs (yes they looked and spoke Arabic).
With the help of Samul Jackson's (US President) PA, they bomb the presidential airplane & manage to kidnap the president. The hero who saves SJ is a Finnish13yr old kid in Finland woods. It looks US and other involved countries (Germany & UK) are now trying to be friends with Finland, a new oil country/source, after losing their big supplier, Iran, while there're disputes in the Gulf states.
The film mainly targets teenagers. With no bias, it is bad scripted & directed; you may notice failures in the film, big one is when the airplane crash landed in the woods and you see it later in the water.
The film is said to be the most expensive ever produced film in Finland with a budget of â?¬8.5M.
