Review of Big Fish (2003) by Dani P — 25 Sep 2013
In the same day I watched Big Fish and Barry Lyndon. Despite the complete difference of the intents, I think that are two movies nearly compatible. The narration follows the same rules and paces, the plot developes more or less in the same way.
The parallels ends here, because one is an absolut masterpiece (well...it was an Hitchcock movie), while the other is completely insufficient. I completely hated all the characters, and after the first 20 minutes I get bored of all this jumping in and out the fantastic stories of Ed Bloom.
