Review of Big Eyes (2014) by Lucas Augusto C — 30 Jan 2015
The most enjoyable and amazing of watching Big Eyes is that has an (unimaginable) exclusively real story, however bizarre it is. It is a fact that the new work of Burton is not entirely true to the story of Walter and Margaret, as a screenplay by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski also keeps some fictional elements, but this is no problem in Big Eyes, a film by itself is too good.
This film also it is a milestone in Burton's career, for the first time in the history of his career, shooting a biopic, by the way, is excellent. This is another valuable and convincing proof of the immense versatility of Tim Burton as director.
Of course, what I conclude here is that even away from home, Tim Burton still able to mount glorious films keeping the classic features of their previous long that the consecrated both in this cinematic universe that even into the most powerful transformation, save a very special place to Burton.
