Finally, Tim Burton makes a good movie after how many years. This doesn't have the usual stuff a Tim Burton movie does am because it is more down to earth than his other ones. Amy Adams' performance is great because of how subtle it is and Christoph Waltz's is kinda over the top but is still great nonetheless.
The direction is great as usual, they music by Danny Elfman is a bit cheesy but that's what you come to expect from a Burton movie. The set design and costumes were very good and I felt correctly portrayed the time.
The colors are bright and vivid as do most of his movies, and the script is great. It is written by the same duo who wrote Ed Wood, I don't think this is better because Ed Wood is easily one of his best movies if not his best, but this is still great.
If you are a Tim Burton fan like me, then I would highly suggest checking this out.
