One of my favourite movies as a kid...

As most of you know I love Adam Sandler. I always have, and I personally think I always will. Now I know alot of people cannot stand him, but I personally find him hilarious, and a great actor. This movie is very funny at times, but towards the end I actually found it pretty sad.

Sonny Koufax (Sandler) has done nothing with his life, except, eat sleep, and go to work once a week. His girlfriend has finally had enough, and leaves him for a much older man. Sonny knows it is finally time to make a change to his life. One day social services randomly drop off a little boy named Julian to the house. They say that this is Sonny's roommates Kevin's son. After finally deciding to make a change to his life, Sonny tells his friend Kevin that he will figure everything out, and that it will all be fine. Sonny pretends to be Julian's father and adopts him. Throughout the way Sonny grows a strong bond with Julian, meets a girl named Layla, and finally grows up.

Any fan of Sandler will find this film hilarious from start to finish!

Now I really enjoyed most of the movie, but I found Joey Lauren Adams who plays Layla very cheesy, and the weak point in the movie. As usual Sandler has his regular cast mates with him, including Rob Schneider as a hilarious delivery man.

As for Adam Sandler, I thought he did an amazing job, and was hilarious throughout the whole movie.

The Sprouse twins actually shared the role as Julian, and I have to admit they did a pretty good job. I loved the character Julian, I thought he was funny, cute, and somewhat smart. They were a really good choice for the role, and I really liked that they shared it.

Now this movie is definitely not for everyone, especially since I notice there are not alot of Sandler fans out there anymore.

But any fan of Sandler should enjoy this.

My Rating for Big Daddy is.

85%.
