I'm a big fan of Miike but when I saw this, I didn't know what to think. Could that guy do a movie that I hate? Apparently yes. I liked the first 5 minutes or so with that guy reading and then it all went downhill.
The awful cgi shots didn't help either. Yes, it's fairly good ambiance-wise but then it doesn't lead anywhere. And it's not even surreal enough to get me excited either.
