Impressive Israeli thriller/comedy, with torture played for broad laughs... interesting, and well enough done to avoid seeming disparate.
Quite funny at times, but then goes all serious and depressing for the end; happy endings aren't always welcome but it's pretty dark subject matter, and I'm unsure whether it's meant as an indictment of the futility of torture, or just maybe felt like less of a cop-out ending.
