Review of Big (1988) by Jonathan B — 16 Mar 2011
It's nearly impossible not to have a good time with Big. Tom Hanks is one of the most likeable stars in cinema history and this is one of his more iconic roles, earning him his first Oscar nomination.
It's a timeless tale full of many laugh-out-loud moments that also captures the innocence of being a child in a way few films have. In short, it's the type of comedy that rarely comes around, one in which the versatile Hanks and company provide not only the humor but also endearing characters and something to think about.
