Review of Big (1988) by Toby G — 29 Dec 2017
Extremely sentimental and corny story about a boy that gets his wish to be older. We all had that wish when we were a kid. I remember being 8 or 9 and wanting to do the exact same thing as the kid in this movie.
Ride the big rides. Penny Marshall does a great job of keeping it somewhat realistic. When he has the mentality of a 30 year old it gets a bit dumb. But it doesn't last long. Tom Hanks turns in a great performance.
