Review of Big (1988) by Craig S — 31 Dec 2011
Great, sweet, heart-warming movie. At first glance looks like your average kids movie, but, in addition to the humour and innocence, there's great human and relationship drama, and many philosophical questions posed.
Plot is great and Penny Marshall's direction is spot-on. Tom Hanks deserved his Oscar nomination - his performance is convincing and genuine. Much of the warmness of the movie is due to his heartfelt performance.
Perfect for the entire family.
