The key to this movie's success is whether or not you actually lose yourself in the fact that Tom Hanks never stops looking like a 35-year-oldâ?¦ Even while he is 10. And that's why this movie is so successful.

You also have to give a lot of credit to the casting directors, since they were able to choose people like Elizabeth Perkins and Robert Loggiaâ?? who are normally such "old soul" types when they play their roles and she would never consider them kids â?? and be able to make them feed off of Hanks enough to make them little kids themselves.
