The best film I have ever seen. Emotional, funny, dramatic and stunning this film is superb. Robin Williams stars as Andrew, a robot with human emotional feelings bought by Richard "Sir" Martin (Sam Neill)in 2005.

Andrew then falls in love with the daughter of "Sir" (Hallie K. Eisenburg/Embeth Davidtz)however facing the fact that he will never marry and have had an argument with "Sir", Andrew retreats to a seaside house.

Wanting to become a human, he consults scientist, Rupert (Oliver Platt) who gives him full human features. 10 Years Later, Little Miss, the daughter of "Sir" visits Andrew to say that he is dying.

Andrew speaks with "Sir" before he dies. Richard apologises for his argument all those years ago then dies. Andrew retreats to the seaside home he built and returns to the Martin Home. Little Miss is now dying and old however Andrew sees her grand-daughter as a younger version of her and falls in love with her.

She says that she will grow old and he will not. Williams full of emotion then in the portrayal goes back to an old Rupert to ask to have his robot body filled with blood making him human. The World Council disagrees at first that he is human (after all the changes he has had) however when Andrews dies, in 2205, the council regonise him as human.

He passes just before he sees the message.
