Review of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970) by Juan V — 26 Aug 2010
As the end credits rolled, I found my mouth wide open. This masterpiece blew my mind. The character development was purely amazing. Ebert's writing was astonishing to me, although it seemed a bit too confusing at times.
Although the dialogue seemed cheesy at parts, it fit just right with the film's atmosphere. I had no idea what to expect next while viewing the film, and it gave me a wonderful dosage of counter culture as well.
5 stars for Meyer's masterpiece!
