Review of Beyond the Lights (2014) by Sincere C — 15 Nov 2014
Well acted among the leads Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Nate Parker. Formulaic and one particular story element I didn't buy, however, the story does shed light on the ugly truths about fame. Even if those truths may already be known, the film does do a solid job of visually showing us those horrors.
It's worth checking out.
