Review of Beyond Re-Animator (2003) by Bill B — 29 Sep 2011
This movie fits right in with the others. The re-animator is back. The 'good' doctor is replaced with a new guy who takes on the exact same role. The hospital/morgue is replaced with a prison. The 'science' is advanced one further in this movie by the discovery of nanoplasm, a substance that centers around the nervous system and calms the violent tendencies of the re-animated bodies.
..along with some other consequences. As per usual, you have to just accept the absurdities to like this movie, a perfect example being the rat karate fighting the re-animated penis during the credits.
