Review of Beverly Hills Cop (1984) by Robert S — 04 Apr 2009

This was even better than I expected. It could really do without the obnoxious 80's soundtrack, but Murphy was born do play this role and born to do this harder style of comedy. Beverly Hills Cop is THE best example of the potential that Eddie Murphy had before throwing in the towel and spending the rest of his career in terrible family comedies.

I really wish he would do another real R rated comedy. It's just what he's good at.
