Review of Beverly Hills Cop (1984) by Bradley W — 19 Feb 2012

Beverly Hills Cop is a funny and cool box office hit and one of Eddie Murphy's best roles to date. He plays Alex Foley, a cool and incredible detective who has real potential, and when his best friend is murdered he stes out to find the people who did it.

It sounds simple ideed but its actually a very fun ride and a very fun movie. I really enjoyed the story and characters but I felt like the movie did not take the comedy to the level it could have and they made it a little too serious at times.

. Other than that I still found this to be a very good movie and lives up to all the hype I heard about it. If you need a cool action comedy the this is what you need to see.
