Review of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 (2011) by Gabby G — 20 Feb 2011

When I noticed most of the original actors were missing, my assumption of this one being worse than the first was already correct. What also bothered me was the very much noticeable forcing of the dogs so that they seem to have a personality,including the movements.

I even thought the shots were slowed down or rewinded sometimes (as heavily depicted in the ending song!). A lot of fancy stuff is portrayed, pretentious dogs with owners who care to much. Also the miscaption of being heard from time to time, as if they could speak against the barking is laim.

(ex: winning act of the dogshow). They do the dogshow, which I found one of the highlights, because of the houseloan the parents of Sam need to pay. Simple but gentle story. But this transfers to a runaway story of the five pups, something I think should have been the whole movietopic.

Maybe they thought it was to similar to the first movie, although that was a very good story! The Chihuahua warrior thing is a good catch, nicely imported in different ways, surely at the ending. Happy ending ofcourse! Not as funny as I thought.
