Review of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 (2011) by Lilianetty L — 20 Jan 2011
I saw the first one and this one wasn't enough. It was still beautiful and with a message, but is an image kids don't want, I mean, without been rude or anything, but rich people always on this films? Really, same story short. Nothing new at all.
Plot: Chihuahuas get married, have kids, discover new places (old places), romances get shut (racist stuffs going on), etc, etc. Interesting plot? Yes it is. But it must be always the same happy ending? Disney NEVER changes.
Acting: Well, since most of the acting was VOICE ACTING, I must say my faves were George Lopez, Zachary Gordon and Miguel Ferrer. The rest? Could have done BETTER :).
Music: Nothing new in this score. Stars? Of course! But only 2. Sorry kids, TRIX are for kids (blind memory going right now to other film).
To end this film review, 3 stars of 5. I must be honest, and truthful, since truth always wins (no matter how hard it gets to others), but this film was beautiful and has an interesting story-telling, it has rythm to, is not slow at all, but I wish somehow to see improvement on the acting skills used. I mean, Disney's company can make better things (that includes director, producers, actors, light and sound programs, I dunno what else!). But anyway, enjoy and hope your kids or family can enjoy this. HASTA LA PROXIMA!!!
