A fresh take on the home invasion formula, but it definitely loses a lot when it moves away from the more traditional horror elements. It's still disturbing to watch thanks to the subject matter and acting of the lead characters, but it goes on for a bit too long and the ending could have been better.
Some of the supporting cast are weak, but it's still a good film.
