I saw the trailer months and months ago.
The trailer presented the movie as a home-invasion style flick where the babysitter and the boy she's watching over attempt to survive and Home Alone style antics ensue.
And the movie succeeded in that..... in the first half hour or so. After that it gradually went downhill and the plot didn't really connect with me or made sense in some instances. You're left wondering why certain events happened and they don't really get explained so it kind of leaves a lot in the air and unanswered.
The acting is okay. There's nothing terrible about it but there's nothing really phenomenal either.
The ending left a lot to be desired, but it also was kinda okay. Wish some things were different but it is what it is.
I'd say watch it if you'd like something decent and aren't expecting a lot of a movie, just something to watch casually or play in the background.
Otherwise? I'd give this a firm pass.
