Linklater's humble style once again brings out the best in Black. A quirky, surprisingly effective mix of black comedy, crime film, and documentary. But don't let its unassuming nature fool you; there's a lot here.
A film that has fun with the quirks of small-town life, and its eccentric character, without being condescending.
